I am excited to make a presentation about engaging community supported agriculture subscribers as investors. I will be talking at the Florida Organic Grower Symposiums in Tampa on March 6, and in Tallahassee on March 20. CSAs help growers manage risk, raise capital, and build community. To ensure a strong partnership between growers and consumers, I will talk about community education, the role of agreements, and the impact of business entity selection on community.
The entire symposium is aimed at educating and providing resources to small business owners in direct-to-consumer agricultural and food entrepreneurship in Florida. If you cannot make it to my talks in Tampa or Tallahassee, there is another symposium in Fort Pierce on March 13.
